Built on Passion. Guided by Purpose.
Quiet warrior.
Quiet Warrior was born from the belief that true strength isn’t always loud - it often moves stealthy beneath the surface, steady and aware. I created this company after witnessing the profound transformations that occur when people reconnect with their inner calm and courage.
I’ve watched veterans emerge from anxiety, depression, and despair into peace and purpose; seen firefighters, teens, and even children cultivate confidence, resilience, and strength through conscious breath and Stress Inoculation training. The name reflects that balance—the quiet of mindfulness and the warrior spirit that rises through adversity.
The octopus, the emblem of Quiet Warrior, carries deep spiritual medicine that mirrors this work. A master of adaptability and intuition, the octopus teaches fluidity, regeneration, and presence in moments of pressure. It reminds us that strength lies not in resistance but in our ability to flow, to sense, and to transform. That symbolism is at the heart of every session, where breath, movement, and focus guide people back to themselves. For me, this work is sacred—bearing witness to someone’s evolution from struggle to thriving is one of the greatest honors of my life.
MEET KAI.
I’ve lived my life in motion—drawn to the water, the mountains, and the challenge of mastering new disciplines. From swimming, water polo, and lifeguarding in Laguna Beach to competing in outrigger canoe racing at the World Championships and carving my path to the Olympic Training Center in Snowboard Cross after just two years in the sport, my journey has always been about pushing limits. Along the way, I met my husband, David, a gymnast training at the OTC. After a career-ending injury shifted my direction, we joined Cirque du Soleil, where David performed in the shows Corteo and TOTEM, and our family traveled the world together, raising our children amidst creativity, movement, and resilience.
Those experiences eventually led me to create Quiet Warrior—a reflection of everything I’ve learned about strength, adaptability, and calm under pressure. Drawing on the mentorship of retired Marine Raiders and earning certifications through Deep End Fitness, ACE, Precision Nutrition, Oxygen Advantage, and Nordic Flow, I became the first woman to license a Deep End Fitness location in Vermont, later expanding into Charleston. Today, David and I train clients of all ages, from babies learning water confidence to veterans rediscovering their edge, helping each person find courage, balance, and purpose through movement and breath.
